Brookville, In. — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has been recognized for participation in the local internship program.

A Franklin County High School senior was given the opportunity to “job shadow” dispatchers and deputies. The student was able to observe dispatch operations, traffic stops, investigations and court trials.

“This was a great opportunity for all involved,” stated Franklin County Sheriff Ken Murphy.  “It is a privilege to be a part of shaping young lives and helping them choose a career path,” continued Murphy.
