(Greensburg, IN) – Fundraising efforts have been started by Decatur County Commissioners as part of the fairgrounds improvement project.
Plans call for construction of a new Community Building, restrooms, and renovation of the Farm and Home Building – the latter comes with a $50-thousand price tag, with money to come from READI 2.0 funds that were to be distributed this summer, but are being held up at the state level.
As a result of the uncertain availability of those READI funds, county leaders are looking at other ways to pay for the project.
