Aurora to Celebrate a “Miracle on Main”

December 1, 2019 - January 1, 2020

Families looking for a little holiday fun will find it in downtown Aurora this season during Miracle on Main, a celebration taking place in this historic city located along the Ohio River.
The festivities kick off the Sunday after Thanksgiving with the city’s traditional Christmas tree lighting, arrival of Santa, and evening Christmas parade the night of December 1.
Then mark your calendars, for the following three weekends (through December 22).
Enjoy one of the largest Dickens Villages in the Tri-State, visits, and breakfasts with Santa, holiday activities, the Aurora Express train rides, and more.
Finally, celebrate the arrival of the new year at a special “New Year’s Eve” Dancing on the Main Event.

Miracle on Main is coordinated by Main Street Aurora, which works to attract visitors to the city’s historic district, offering shopping, dining, entertainment, and events both during the holiday season and throughout the year.
