Road maintenance will continue on U.S. Highway 52/ Main Street in Brookville for a few more nights.
The Indiana Department of Transportation began milling and paving certain sections of the road on Sunday evening.
Terri Hartwell, a representative with INDOT says “Their grinding the road out and putting blacktop down. So it should be a pretty nice road when their done.”
She suggests that the evening work could continue until Friday. The work is done from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. each night.
INDOT asks residents to avoid parking along the work area on Main Street during the overnight hours.
