Estal D. Whitham, age 79 of Batesville, Indiana, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Born September 19, 1937 in Switzerland County Indiana, he is the son of Iva (Nee: Lakeman) and Herman Whitham. He married Sara Pohlman August 18, 1962 at Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Estal was a Carpenter for Union #2 in Cincinnati, before retiring.
He is survived by his wife Sara “Sally” Whitham of Batesville; daughter and son-in-law Lora and Daniel Eckstein of Oldenburg; son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Susan Whitham of Mooresville, Indiana; grandchildren Clay and Annie Eckstein of Oldenburg. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Estal’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be no visitation and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
