Erma June Kaiser , 87, of Blue Mound, WI, formerly of Versailles, Aurora and Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Blue Mound, WI.
She was born Friday, June 15, 1928 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, Daughter of the late John W. Phelps and the late Mabel Whiteside Phelps.
She worked in maintanence for Lawrenceburg Public Library, with over 34 years of service. She previously worked for Wakers Laundry in Aurora and the Goodwill Store in Lawrenceburg.
Erma enjoyed BINGO, word search puzzles, CSI, puttering around in her flower garden and eating cheese. .
Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Prestel of Blue Mound, WI; sisters, Roberta Phelps of McKee, PA, Edna Koon of Alliquippa, PA; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brother, Bennett “Bud” Phelps, daughter, Kathy Bedford and granddaughter, Roxanna Slayback.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
