Emma M. Prickel, age 92 of Batesville, died Saturday, December 24, 2022 at St. Andrews Health Campus. Born April 4, 1930 in Ripley County Indiana, she is the daughter of Alvina (Nee: Wallpe) and Alphonse Prickel.
Emma was very devout and prayed the rosary daily. She also enjoyed many other interests including nature, watching golf, rooting for Notre Dame and the Reds, playing bingo and lotto bingo, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune as well as listening to country music.
Emma is survived by her sister Katie Prickel of Batesville; brother Larry Prickel of Osgood and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by sister Pauline Vankirk and brothers Tony, Alvin (Buster) and Paul (Pete) Prickel.
