Ellen A. (Cayton) Baer, 61, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Friday July 10, 2020 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born August 13, 1958 in Milan, IN, daughter of the late Dwight Cayton and Beulah (Wilson) Cayton.
Ellen worked as a night Auditor for Rising Star Hotel.
Ellen was an advocate for animal rights and human rights. She enjoyed going to dirt track races, especially with the late model cars.
She is survived by her loving spouse Douglas Baer of Aurora, Indiana; children, Kristen Baer of Aurora, IN, and Derek Baer of Newport, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Aurora Pavillion, 415 Park Ave, Aurora, Indiana.
A memorial services will follow at 12:00 pm. Following the service a Wake will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 pm
A Graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the PAWS of Dearborn County, American Cancer Society or Human Rights Campaign. If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
