Eleanor “Ruth” Youngman age 84 of Napoleon passed away on Saturday May 8. Ruth was born on September 8, 1936 the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Rimstidt) Youngman in Napoleon.
She has been a lifetime resident of Napoleon, growing up with her brothers and sisters and attended Napoleon High School, graduating in the Class of 1954. Ruth was a familiar face around town working several years in the Knueven store and a faithful attendee of St Maurice Catholic Church. Ruth enjoyed her family and loved helping to raise her niece and nephews.
Ruth is survived by brother Henry (Mary) Youngman of Napoleon, sisters Patricia Haessig of Milan and Rose Kinker of Bright, along with numerous niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Al, Charles, and Cleo and sisters; Thelma Miefert, Mary Waters, Joan Werner, Molly Schultz, Marcella, Betty Fry, and Eileen Dickman.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 10-11 am. at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am. with Father Bill Turner and Sister Shirley Gerth officiating. Doors will open to the public at 10 am.
