East Central traveled to Brookville Tuesday and beat Franklin County 70-19. This was a non-conference game.
The Lady Trojans got 19 points from Hope Fox, 14 via Laney Baker and 12 by Josie Trabel. The trio also combined for 19 rebounds. In addition for EC, Julia Tiemann had a team-best six dishes and added seven points.
Jenna Bruns had eight points and three rebounds to lead the Wildcats.
“In the first quarter, the Wildcats played five guards and played well,” said Franklin County coach Kyle Van Meter. “At one point it was 9-7 when we called a timeout. After that the Trojans pulled away. East Central has a solid basketball program. Playing against them shows our entire program where we want to be.”
