EC Class of ’24 Racks Up Millions in Scholarships, Savings

(St. Leon, IN) – This year’s graduating class at East Central High School has racked up $5 million in scholarship opportunities.

Sunman-Dearborn Schools Superintendent Andrew Jackson says more than 100 students earned the Indiana College Core, which is a 30-credit certificate.

Those credits are accepted by Indiana colleges and universities for actual courses, which allows students to begin their college careers as sophomores.

As a result, he says the Class of 2024 and their families realized over $3 million in savings.

Dr. Jackson appeared on Friday’s edition of The Daily Pod. You can listen to the entire interview here.
