At Brook Hill Saturday, East Central captured the 2022 EIAC Boys Golf Championship, bettering runner up Connersville by three strokes, 329-333. Greensburg (333) and Batesville (343) followed in third and fourth.
The Trojans Devin McFarland earned conference MVP honors shooting 74, two shots better than the 76 posted by both Cooper Kinney of the Spartans and Eli Hoffman of South Dearborn.
Joining those three on the 2022 all-conference team are: Connersville’s Will Chalker (79), East Central’s Justin Wuestefeld (80) and Peyton Hoog (80), Greensburg’s Parker Phillips (80), Lawrenceburg’s Cameron Williamson (81), the Pirates Colten Schroeder (82), Rushville’s Sam Smith (82) and Batesville’s Leo Moody (83) and Jackson Day (84 by tiebreaker).
