East Central’s Lady Trojan soccer team traveled to Kentucky to play the Highland Blue Birds and won 1-0.
Michael Tiemann noted EC took the lead with a goal in the 15th minute by freshman forward Ellie Hill. Sophomore Erika Wells was credited with the assist. The early goal proved to be all that was needed as the remainder of the contest was a defensive battle.
The Lady Trojans are now 9-2-1 overall.
