Earnest L. “Ernie” Worthington 83, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Monday May 11, 2020 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was born March 26, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Lee Worthington and Grace (Thies) Worthington.
Ernie was a member of the National Guard. He was an active member of the Aurora Lions Club, member of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge and a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.
He worked as a machinist for Seagrams, retiring with over 30 years of service.
Earnest is survived by his loving spouse, Mary (Schwier) Worthington of Aurora, Indiana; sons, Michael Worthington of Manchester, Indiana, and Robert Worthington of Naples, Florida; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
