Brookville, In. — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Margaret Mary Health and Stayin’ Alive are holding a “Prescription Drug Take Back” event Friday, April 26 at the Brookville Tire Mart from 6 to 8 p.m.
The intent is to prevent prescription drug abuse, theft and pollution through proper disposal of prescription drugs.
This program is for liquid and pill medications. Needles, new or used and aerosols will not be accepted for disposal. This service is free and anonymous with no questions asked.
