(Greensburg, IN) – A 76-year-old Greensburg man died Friday afternoon after he apparently suffered a medical episode while driving, sending his vehicle off the road and into a fertilizer company building, police said.
Michael R. Linville was transported to Decatur County Memorial Hospital following the 2:15 p.m. crash at Kova Fertilizer, 1330 N. Anderson St., where he was pronounced dead. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
Linville’s southbound vehicle left Carver Street at the State Road 3 bypass, crossed a grassy area and struck three parked vehicles before hitting the building, according to the Greensburg Police Department.
No other vehicles were involved.
The Greensburg Police Department and the Decatur County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate.
