Dolores Smith, 93, of Versailles passed away at 12:15 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home. She was born in Weld County, Colorado on January 1, 1930 the daughter of Lawrence and Doris Bush. She was married to Russell Smith who preceded her in death. Survivors include her children Dors Stouder, Gordon (Nelyn) Smith, Frank (Tanya) Smith, Cathy (Mike) Smith; grandchildren Russ, Chrissie, Elizabeth, Joshua (Tiffanie), Larry, Jerry (Marissa); great-grandchildren Kendra, Arianna, Aiden, Oakly, Jerry, Zoe, Kai, and Calle. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her children Russ, Lawrence, Steven, and John. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Sherman Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Akers Cemetery at Friendship. Visitation will also be on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. Memorials may be given to the Bear Creek Baptist Church in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
