Discover Batesville launches new website, promotional video

BATESVILLE, IN  — The City of Batesville recently launched its newly developed website and promotional video highlighting the community and economic development opportunities.

As part of the Build Better in Batesville campaign – formulated by the Economic Development Commission and spearheaded by the Batesville Marketing Coalition, a collaborative effort with the City of Batesville, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street – a marketing plan was researched, a web development agency secured, and Discover Batesville was launched – the purpose of which is to drive economic development and showcase community assets.

“We’re dedicated to promoting, branding, and telling Batesville’s authentic story to both attract and retain businesses, talent, and visitors to our community,” said Sarah Lamping, Economic Development Director for the City of Batesville. “The Build Better in Batesville campaign is our story. The new website, along with a promotional video, will motivate people to engage in information and opportunities that Batesville has to offer.”

The new promotional video and website highlight charm and growth. Both feature family-owned shops and restaurants – showcasing the community investment in education and healthcare facilities, spotlighting arts and culture and the trails that reveal the natural beauty of Batesville.

“A strong economy is the foundation of a well-run city, and the Batesville Marketing Coalition is focused on sustainable economic growth that leads to a healthy community,” said Mayor Mike Bettice.
