Delma Davidson, age 75 of Batesville, passed away Thursday December 16, 2021, at his residence with his family. He was born March 26, 1946, in Beattyville, KY a son to Estill and Helen (Caudill) Davidson. On December 23, 1967, Delma married the love of his life, Billie Carol Lane in Campton KY. He held several positions with several companies threw out his life. Delma was a hard-working businessman and owned and operated Oldenburg Pallets.
Delma always enjoyed meeting people, taking road trips, going to auctions, and loved his old Ford cars. Most of all Delma enjoyed working hard and making money to provide for his number one priority, his family. When he wasn’t working, he always took the opportunity to spend time with family, especially his pride and joy, his grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
Delma is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Billie Carol Davidson, son Doug (Stephanie) Davidson of Batesville, daughter Belinda Davidson of Batesville. Four grandchildren Jacob, Zach, Matthew, and Tyler, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many friends.
Delma was preceded in death by his parents Estill and Helen Davidson, sister Velma Davidson Spurlock, and stepmother Eva Webb Davidson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December21, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Cook Rosenberg Funeral Home in Brookville. Visitation will 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow services at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations can be directed towards Margaret Mary Hospice.
