Dee Ann (Reid) Hostetler, 71, of Moores Hill, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. Dee was born on Saturday, August 21, 1954, in Sullivan, Indiana; daughter of Dean and Mary (Griggs) Reid. She married the love of her life, Thomas “Tom” Hostetler, on June 4, 1977, and he survives. Dee was a teacher for many years for South Dearborn Community School Corporation. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and canning. Dee loved watching the birds and especially loved her cat, Tucker.
Dee will be missed by her husband Tom Hostetler of Moores Hill; sons Richard (Rachel) Hostetler of Hillsboro, Ohio and David Hostetler of Patriot; brother Gary Reid of Sullivan, Indiana; and grandchildren Madison (Colin) Davis of Hubert, North Carolina, Mason Hostetler of St. Charles, Missouri, and Mathias Hostetler of Hillsboro, Ohio.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents Dean and Mary Reid.
There are no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Dee to the donor’s choice.
