The following are boys high school basketball recaps from Saturday, December 11. There may be updates, so please check back.
(VAR) Batesville lost 68-52 to undefeated and 2A ranked Southwestern Hanover.
The Bulldogs were down just one at halftime before the Rebels opened things up with a 17-5 third quarter.
Parker Davis paced the Rebels with 26 points and seven rebounds. Zach Cole flirted with a triple double with 16 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Colton Cloud finished with 11 points.
For the Dogs, Tom Raver logged 23 points and seven caroms. Cole Pride contributed eight points and four boards.
(JV) Batesville’s JV won 57-27 over Southwestern Hanover.
Conner Drake led the BHS reserves booking 16 points. Gus Prickel scored 13 and Sam Johnson tallied 11.
(VAR) North Decatur fell by 10 at Edinburgh, 67-57.
Blake Spears headlined the ND scoring with 22 points. Lance Nobbe and Kaden Muckerheide followed with 11 and 10 respectively.
(JV) The Charger JV edged the Lancers 36-32.
Braydon Hancock picked up 13 points in the ND victory.
Lawrenceburg bested Switzerland County 60-51.
The Tigers gained the advantage during an 18-9 second quarter.
Jackson Bobo led LHS with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Cooper Bobo and Dahya Patel both scored 10. Patel added five boards and four assists.
Cam Craig put in 28 points for the Pacers and had 12 rebounds. Bryce Wrightsman scored 13 and had three dishes.
Jac-Cen-Del lost 62-57 to Richmond.
For the Eagles, Caleb Simon scored 25 and Wyatt Day had 13.
South Dearborn was a 48-38 winner over Harrison.
For the Knights, Eli Hoffman tallied 16 points and Ryan Willoughby scored 14.
