Decatur County receives election improvement grant from Sec. of State

(Decatur County, IN) – Secretary of State Diego Morales continues visiting Indiana counties to hand deliver election improvement grants.

One of his stops on Thursday was Decatur County, where he met with Clerk Janet Howell and her team, and presented a check for $8,000 in Federal Help America Vote Act grant dollars. The money goes toward local election improvement and security efforts.

Statewide, more than 60 counties are receiving grants valued at approximately $2 million.

As of this week, Morales has visited more over 40 counties since the start of the year.
