INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Final results for voter turnout in the 2016 General Election are in.
According to Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson, 58% of 4.8 million registered voters in Indiana voted on November 8.
This was a record year with 2.87 million Hoosiers voted, which is more than in 2008 and 2012.
Decatur, LaGrange, and Whitley counties had the highest voter turnout, with 71% of registered voters in those counties showing up to vote.
