This morning’s action kicks off at 8:45 with the always-adorable Baby Show at the Farm and Home Building stage. At 9 a.m., it’s a triple start: the Horse and Pony Show in the Horse Arena, Rabbit Show judging in the Rabbit Barn, and contests for Illustrated Talk, Poster, Ambassador, and Showmanship.
At 10, head to the Livestock Pavilion for the Gilt and Barrow Show.
Evening events begin at 5 with the Beef Showmanship Contest and the Born and Bred Show, also in the Livestock Pavilion. The midway opens at 5 p.m., and from 6 to 9, enjoy live music from Fishers of Men on the Farm and Home Building stage.
Capping off the night: the Toast Promotions Demolition Derby. Gates open at 4, and the engines roar to life at 7:30. General admission is $10, pit passes are $25, and kids 5 and under get in free.
