Friday brings a mix of fun, food, and tradition to the Dearborn County Fair as the weeklong celebration heads into the weekend.
The day begins at 8 a.m. with the Decorated Rocks Morning Scavenger Hunt—an all-ages favorite that sends families searching across the fairgrounds.
At 9 a.m., the youngest 4-H participants will take the spotlight during the Clover Bud Clinic in the Miss Ellie Show Arena, where hands-on learning and future showmanship take center stage.
Later in the afternoon, fairgoers can enjoy a delicious Pork Chop Dinner served in Agner Hall from 3:30 to 6 p.m.—a fair tradition that draws a hungry crowd.
The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with the final round of the Decorated Rocks Evening Scavenger Hunt.
And at 6 p.m., the main event of the night takes over the Miss Ellie Show Arena: the Kiwanis 4-H Livestock Sale, where months of hard work come full circle for local youth and their prize animals.
