**UPDATED ARRANGEMENTS**
Deanna (Boone) Demotte, 80, of Milan passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at The Waters of Batesville. Deanna was born on Thursday, August 17, 1944, in Milan; daughter of Howard and Elda Gail (Canfield) Boone. Deanna attended Milan First Baptist Church as well as other local churches. She was a member of the Milan Lions Club. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, listening to music, and was a lifetime student. Most of all Deanna loved and cherished her family.
Deanna will be missed by her daughters Laura (Chuck) Sterneberg of Moores Hill and Helen (Todd) Riley of McCordsville, Indiana and granddaughters Haley Riley and Hannah Riley.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Elda Gail Boone; brother Col. Canfield D. “Buddy” Boone; sister DeVeta “Joy” Caplinger; and father of Laura Sterneberg, Jeffrey Reed Ward.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 12:00-4:00 PM, at the Buddy Boone Pavilion at Darren Baker Memorial Park in Milan. Memorials may be given in honor of Deanna to the Class of 1966 Buddy Boone Memorial Fund, please make checks payable to the funeral home.
