
(Greensburg, IN) – The Decatur County Community Foundation (DCCF) will host “In Her League: Game On,” a sports-themed event to support the Fund for Women and Children, on Wednesday, April 29.
It will include a panel of five women with local ties who are athletes and/or working in a sports-centric career:
- Angela (Gauck) Belter, two-time IHSAA state golf champion and golf pro.
- Carol Blankman, two-time participant in International Dragon Boat Racing.
- Julie (Southworth) Graue, former COO for the Indiana Fever.
- Debbie Haviland,USA Track & Field Masters gold-medal athlete.
- Amanda Mang, Greensburg Community High School athletic trainer.
- Sue Auffenberg, Emcee.
The evening will begin with the presentation of the 2026 grant recipient, who will receive $3,500 toward a project that enhances the lives of local women and children.
This year’s event will take place at the Venue on Three in Westport.
Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for students, or $210 for a table of eight, and includes dinner, and can be purchased at dccfound.org, or by stopping by the Foundation office at 101 E. Main St. in Greensburg.
The Fund for Women and Children was created in 2004 by a group of local women who wanted to improve the lives of women and children in Decatur County, whether through programming, services or education.
Since its inception the Fund for Women and Children has awarded scholarships to women returning to school, the Pink Ribbon Fund for mammograms, STEM programs at schools, self-defense programs and more.
