Daylight Saving Time begins early Sunday

SOUTHEASTERN IN — This weekend, we “spring forward”  when Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 am Sunday.

You’re urged to set manual clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

It is also recommended that you replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

The time change means more daylight in the late afternoon.

We’ll do another clock re-set when we switch back to standard time on November 6.
