David Joseph Ehrnschwender, age 72 of Brookville, Indiana passed away on December 3, 2018 at his home. The son of John and Melba (Allman) Ehrnschwender was born on December 8, 1945 in West Virginia. On April 20, 1974, he married Carol Landolt in Findlay, Ohio, and raised three children.
David retired after 33 years as the Vice President of Fairbanks Scale Company. A proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during Vietnam as a Submariner. He was a member of the Community Church in Batesville, the VFW, American Legion and the DAV. David enjoyed playing golf and going boating. He liked woodworking and making various types of chainsaw carvings, as well as drawing and painting. David spent time developing their land at Circle E homestead and volunteering at Community Church and The Springs. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carol; son, Joe (Celine) Ehrnschwender; daughters, Teresa (Michael) Maher and Jayme (Bill) Harris; grandchildren, Brittany (Brett) Parker, Sean (Amanda) Maher, David (Katie) Ehrnschwender, Steven (Leah) Ehrnschwender, Cory (Montana) Ehrnschwender, Chelsey Oakes (Nick Casbar), Brandon (Jodi) Oakes; 17 great grandchildren; along with his siblings, Margaret (Jack) Seiwert, Jerry (Sandy) Ehrnschwender, Corky Ehrnschwender and Debbie (Mark) Zender. Preceded in death by brothers Ray (Mary) Ehrnschwender and Chris (Mary) Ehrnschwender.
