Daryl “Mike” Ireland, 66, of Osgood, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Mike was born in 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Sylvia Brown and Donald Ireland.
Mike was a part of the first graduating class of East Central High School in 1974. He was employed by the Sunman Dearborn School Corporation for over 30 years and was well respected by many staff and students.
Mike loved the outdoors. He was happiest when he was hunting, fishing, watching basketball, enjoying his property, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Joanie Ireland; 3 sons, Jason (Andrea) Ireland, Jake (Lauren) Ireland, and Dave (Hannah) Bumgardner; 2 daughters, Jessie (Terry) Hornberger, and Amy (Matt) Fox; 4 sisters; 1 brother; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike will be deeply missed by his wife, children, family, and friends.
