Danny R. Bowman, age 77 of Sunman IN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on 12/07/2023. He was born March 22, 1946 in Cincinnati Ohio, the son of the late Raymond Bowman and Ora “Marie” (Dick) Bowman.
Danny married Aldine Herzog September 19, 1964. From 1968-2016 Danny owned and operated Mister Dan’s Studio of Hair Design in Fairfield Ohio. He was noticed as one of the top colorists in the tristate area and worked in New York with top hair professionals. He dreamed of having a farm and horses which brought him out to Sunman, IN in 1974 where he raised his family and enjoyed the simple country life. Danny was passionate about Natural Horsemanship and loved spending time training in the round pen rain, snow, or shine. His hobbies were playing guitar and singing, boating, horseback riding and working on the farm.
He was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Aldine.
He is survived by daughter, Danyelle (William) Kurtz of Sunman, son Ronnie (Kathy) Bowman of Burlington KY, granddaughters Gillian (Erik) Jamesson and Shaylee Bowman.
At his request no service will be held. Memorial donations can be given to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
