Danny Lee Brooks Sr., 72, of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH.
He was born on February 5, 1944 to the late, Eugene and Mildred (Taylor) Brooks.
Danny worked for the City of Lawrenceburg Water Department, .retiring after 33years of service. He was a member of Lawrenceburg Fire Department for 25 years, Lawrenceburg Eagles and an Honorary member of the Reserved Police Dept. with the Lawrenceburg Police Department. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving around town. He also liked to watch Western movies and Duck Dynasty. Most of all, he loved to be with his family and he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Danny is survived by his loving spouse of over 49 years, Jenny (Harrell) Brooks, children, Danny Jr. (Kim) Brooks, Brian (Tina) Brooks of Lawrenceburg, IN and Heidi (Mike) Elsen of Cincinnati, OH; Grandchildren, Garrett Brooks, Austin Lattire, Carly Brooks & Trevor Brooks all of Lawrenceburg.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, 300 Tate St. Lawrenceburg, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 2:00 pm following visitation at the Lawrenceburg Fire Department.
Burial will take place in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro, IN.
