Dale V. Elliott, 82, of Dillsboro passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dale was born Tuesday, August 25, 1942, in Covington, Kentucky; son of Louis and Maudie Aillean (Shafer) Elliott. Dale married the love of his life, Linda (Natali) Elliott, of September 25, 1971, and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2018. Dale served in United States Navy. He worked for Marathon Ashland Petroleum as an operator in Cleves, Ohio. He was a member of the Dearborn Baptist Church since 1986. He enjoyed woodworking, doing metal art, welding, and coon hunting. Most of all Dale loved his family.
Dale will be missed by his sons Doug Elliott of Dillsboro and Ryan (Jessica) Elliott of Wylie, Texas; daughter Angie (Wayne) Hunt of Westport; brother Gary (Carol) Elliott of Aurora; and grandchildren Mason Elliott, Alexis Craigmile, Megan Craigmile, and Evan Elliott.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Aillean Elliott; wife Linda Elliott; and son David Elliott.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Dale from 9:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Dearborn Baptist Church: 9638 IN-48, Aurora, IN 47001. Services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gordon Shinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Dale to Dearborn Baptist Church or Dearborn Baptist Church Mission Fund.
