Curtis Alan Lamb, Jr., 70, of Greensburg passed away on August 12, 2026. He was born on September 4, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of Curtis, Sr. and Ruth (Bowen) Lamb. Curtis was a 1973 graduate of Batesville High School.
Alan loved his family, the beach, music, and cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts. He never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel welcome wherever he went. He loved to joke around, and share a laugh, often finding a way to bring some humor to an ordinary moment. Above all, Alan was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren and loved being there to support and encourage them. He will be remembered for his warmth, his sense of humor, and the genuine interest he took in the lives of those around him.
Survivors include: daughters, Alison (Stephen) Jones, Meghan Lamb (Ed) Johnson and Abigail (Dillon) Merritt; grandchildren: Finley Jones, Averie Jones, Beckham Jones, Ellis Jones, Madden Jones, Ivey Merritt, Maclane Merritt, and Shepard Merritt; and sister, Lana (Bill) Miller. He was preceded by his parents.
