VERSAILLES, Ind. — The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents and business owners to be aware of counterfeit money that is circulating in the area.
Businesses in the Versailles area have been affected by this scam, which police say involves someone trying to pass counterfeit $100 bills.
The Sheriff’s Department is asking if anyone has information to contact them at 689-5555 or 689-5558.
