(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Commissioners have retained the Barnes & Thornburg law firm to represent the county in Cobia Solar’s legal petition to overturn the Board of Zoning Appeal’s decision to deny a special exception request for an industrial solar project.
Cobia filed the petition for judicial review in Jennings Superior Court earlier this month, after the BZA voted unanimously in August to deny the company’s request to build a facility in the Burney/Clay Township area.
Commissioners have until next Wednesday, October 1 to respond to Cobia’s petition for review.
