Colts get their QB, again, plucking Ryan from Falcons

The Indianapolis Colts made a big splash Monday by trading for Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan.  The Horseshoes only surrendered a third round draft pick for 2022.

Indy has certainly struggled with stability at the signal caller spot.  The Colts have not had the same quarterback start Week 1 in two consecutive seasons since Andrew Luck in 2013 and 2014.

And the 37-year-old Ryan is not a long-term solution.  But his acquisition might be the Colts best rent-a-QB yet.

Ryan does come with a $40 million price tag for two years but the Colts could opt to release him after the upcoming season and save $29 mil.
