(Dearborn County, IN) – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor 5-Star Company is scheduled to shut down State Road 350 in Dearborn County beginning on or after Monday, June 3, to complete a series of drainage, guardrail and pavement work.
Work will take place on State Road 350 between U.S. 50 and State Road 101.
Crews will start work on 350 just west of U.S. 50 and will continue to work west, completing the project just east of State Road 101.
Closures will be in effect for up to eight weeks, weather permitting.
Crews will begin to place signage in the area prior to the start of construction. During the closures, motorists should use the official detour route which follows U.S. 50 to U.S. 421.
This work is part of a $2.8 million contract awarded to 5-Star Company in October 2023.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling in and around road construction zones.
