Cleta F. Lamb, 85, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born June 13, 1932 in Washington, IN, daughter of the late Lewis Wuertz and Mary Wuertz.
Cleta worked as a bookkeeper for R. Bennett Construction with over 25 years of service. She also worked at Vollmers Wholesale in Washington, Indiana for 15 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Aurora. Cleta enjoyed cooking and was a in the Clabber Girl Kitchen Band. Cleta was involved in the Missionary group at church, was an avid reader of religious books and was a very faithful person.
Surviving are sons, Gregory Lamb of Lawrenceburg, IN, Allan (Regina) Lamb of Aurora, IN; sister, Sharon (Terry) Shaw; grandchildren, Jacob Lamb, Zachary Lamb, Jessica (Dylan) Sullivan and great grandchildren, Hunter and Emerson Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard “Bud” Lamb and sister, Evelyn Schnarr.
Friends will be received Saturday, March 10, 2018, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Road, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Church at 2:30 pm with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
