Our precious baby girl, Claire Renée Rent, was born on July 5, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky. Claire was the identical twin sister to Kimberly Sue Rent and the beloved daughter of Christopher Lee Austin Rent and Christy Leann Cunningham. Born early at 32 weeks, Claire entered the world weighing 3 pounds 9 ounces. Claire bravely spent 31 days in the NICU in Louisville and was released on August 5th. She eagerly awaited to be reunited with her sissy when Kimberly was released from NICU on August 11th. On August 5th, Claire and her family celebrated her leaving the hospital with a special trip to the Louisville Zoo – a day filled with joy that will forever be treasured. Claire passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at their home in Vevay, Indiana. Though her time here was brief, Claire’s life was filled with love, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family.

She was preceded in death by her big brother, Oakland Walker Rent, died September 2024; her paternal-grandparents, Debbie (Romans) Foster Henson, Walter “Lee” Foster, and Dale Romans; her maternal-great-grandfather, Harold William “Bill” Beatty; her paternal-great-grandfather, Ted Eldridge; and her paternal-great-great-grandfather, Raymond Henson.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
