City opens CCMG bids for road projects

Greensburg, IN — The City of Greensburg opened bids on Monday during the Board of Works meeting for the 2020-2 Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) projects. Bids varied from $207,000 to $257,000. All the bids were taken under advisement for review of proper documentation.

According to Mayor Josh Marsh, the next roads up for paving are Amrhein Drive, Creekside East and West, Forsyth Street, a block of Sixth Street, and Randall Street. The engineering estimate for work on these streets was around $236,500.
