Drewersburg, IN — A 66-year-old Cincinnati man was hurt in a one-vehicle accident on State Road 252 near Dickson Road. Franklin County Sheriffs’ deputies say Jon Eckerle was eastbound on 252 when he lost control of his car while driving thru a curve and went off the road into a ditch before striking an embankment. Eckerle was taken by Franklin County EMS to Mercy Health in Cincinnati. Wet roads may have been a factor in the crash. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Drewersburg Volunteer Fire Department and Franklin County EMS.
