Christina Y. “Teany” Cantwell, 77, of Aurora, IN, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at her home in Aurora, IN.
She was born Sunday, October 23, 1938 in Aurora, Indiana, Daughter of the late James E. Sellers and the late Hazel Armstrong Sellers.
She worked as a LPN for Dearborn County Hospital for over 46 years. Teany was well suited for her job being a very caring and compassionate person. Teany was a member of Life Church, Aurora, IN and Dearborn County Hospital Retirement Group. She enjoyed working in her garden, camping, crocheting, reading and crossword books. She also loved Gatlinburg, TN. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Teany’s faith was important to her. She treated people with kindness and displayed her faith by serving and caring for others. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Frank Cantwell of Aurora, IN; Daughter, Melodie Tibbits of Aurora, IN; Son, Greg (Bonnie) Cantwell of Aurora, IN; Brother, Eddie (Patty) Sellers of Aurora, IN; Sisters, Alberta (late, Gayle) Campbell of Aurora, IN, Gerrie (Frank) McGinnis of Dillsboro, IN; Grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Tibbitts, Jessica (Josh) Heidorn, Justin (Angie) Tibbitts and Sarah (Jon) Baker; Great Grandchildren, Baylin, Kaisey, Madison, Devan, Olivia, Levi, Lucas, Riley, Alex and Hazel.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at Life Church, 201 W. Conwell St., Aurora, IN, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 with Pastor Jeff Lawson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Moores Hill, Indiana
