Christa Marie (Armbruster) Thomas of Moores Hill passed away Monday, October 5, 2020, as a result of an auto accident. Christa was born Thursday, March 19, 1992 in Lawrenceburg to Robert T. and Shelia (Draper) Armbruster Jr. She married Jay W. Thomas on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Christa loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. However, what she enjoyed most was her time spent with her son. Christa never seemed to meet a stranger. She was extraordinarily kind to everyone she crossed paths with and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Christa is survived by husband Jay Thomas of Moores Hill; son Jakob Thomas at home; parents Robert and Shelia Armbruster of Moores Hill; brother Jared Armbruster of Moores Hill; paternal grandmother Jaqueline Armbruster of Aurora; maternal grandmother Janet Draper of Lawrenceburg; step father-in-law Brenden Lea, mother-in-law Sheila Lea, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course- her dogs. Christa was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Robert Armbruster Sr. and her maternal grandfather Robert Draper.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the Family with Father Ben Syborg officiating.
