Charlotte J. Amrhein, age 77, of Everton, Indiana died Monday August 3, 2020 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana.
Born August 28, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Clay S. & Beatrice J. (Lancaster) Haynes. On January 4, 1964 she was united in marriage to Robert Amrhein, and he survives.
A homemaker, in her leisure time she enjoyed flowers and gardening, and her pets.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Brookville.
Besides Robert, her husband of over 56 years, survivors include two sons, Timothy Amrhein of Everton, Indiana and Torrey Amrhein of Alpine, Indiana; four grandchildren, Torrey Amrhein Jr., Emily Amrhein, Amelia Amrhein, and Anna Amrhein; 10 nieces; 8 nephews; three sisters in law, Alberta Amrhein, Joan Amrhein, and Betty Haynes; a brother-in-law, Mark Sterwerf.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Allen Lee Amrhein, and a brother, Marvin Haynes.
Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Vincent Lampert will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 7, 2020, 11:30 A.M. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 145 St. Michael Blvd., Brookville. Burial will then follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Brookville.
