Charlotte E. (Morehead) Daugherty, 78, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, in Edgewood, Kentucky.
She was born May 30, 1943, in Milan, IN, daughter of the late Earl Morehead and Garnet (Ashcraft) Morehead.
She worked as a Loan Clerk for American State Bank, retiring after several years of service.
Charlotte was a member of the First Baptist Church Greendale. She served as the church secretary for many years. She was also a Deaconess. Charlotte’s family was her life. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking After the death of her husband Buck, she kept very busy watching the kids and grandkids in their many activities.
Charlotte is survived by sons, Timothy Daugherty of Lawrenceburg, IN, Chad (Kristy) Daugherty of Fairfield, OH; sisters, Phyllis (Larry) Powell of Lawrenceburg, IN, Carolyn Morehead of Dillsboro, IN; grandchildren, Seth (Katie) Daugherty, Emily (Jarod) Lochtefeld, Aleisha (Jamie) Lozier, Christopher (Jessica) Baker, Cody Baker; great grandchildren, Paxton, Lucian, Roman, Sebastian, Carson, Lynnex & Emerson
She was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Garnet Morehead; Husband Gene “Buck” Daugherty & son Mark Daugherty
Friends will be received Friday, October 1, 2021, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, Greendale, 45 Tebbs Av. Greendale, IN
Services will be held at the Church immediately following visitation on Friday at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale Indiana.
