North Decatur hosted the annual Decatur County Meet on May 5th. Greensburg was first in the Girls Meet with 88.5 followed by South Decatur with 33.5 and North with 32.
The Chargers celebrate Seniors: Anna Burkhart, Jenna Geis, Abby Hartman, and Grace Hartman.
Anna Burkhart took 1st place in 100m with a time of 13.38, 2nd place in the 200m, and 2nd place in Long Jump with her PR of 16’5.5”. Jenna Geis took 2nd in the 400M with a time of 1’12:45. Jenna Walton 2nd in the 800m with a time of 2’48.01. Gracie Osting took 4th in the 1600m with a time of 6’49:28 and 4th in the 300 Hurdles with a time of 56:96. Skyla Wade took 3rd in Shot Put and 3rd in Discuss. Ella Kunz took 3rd in 100 Hurdles with a time of 21:22 and 4th is Discuss. Abby Hartman took 2nd in High Jump with a jump of 4’10”. The 4x400M relay made of Geis, Osting, Hartman, and Walton took 2nd place.

The Annual Decatur County Track and Field meet was held last night here at North Decatur. The Pirates won the Boys team crown with a score of 82 followed by The Cougars with 35 and the host Chargers with 34
We are proud to announce several Chargers who are Decatur County Champions!
Logan Koehne is the Decatur County Champion in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
Ellis Loehmer is a triple Decatur Champion n the High Jump, 110 meter High Hurdles, and the 300 Meter Low Hurdles.
Again, congratulations to these Decatur County Champions as well to both Varsity Track teams on a terrific meet.
