Changes coming to recycling program in Greensburg

Greensburg, In. —  Decatur County Solid Waste Management has announced changes to the no-cost recycling program beginning in September.

A report from the Greensburg Daily News says 18-gallon recycling containers will be replaced with a 96-gallon containers and the pick-up schedule will move to bi-weekly and will be done on the same day as trash pick-up.

Before August 1, residents can request the 96-gallon container at greensburg.rehrigtech.com/. After August 1, requests can be made by calling Best Way Disposal at 800-354-1830. Residents are asked to stop using the 18-gallon containers Friday, September 1. No pick up is scheduled for Labor Day, Monday, September 4.
