Another strong showing by the East Central Swim Team on Day 2.

Alexis deLong- 8th girls 13-14 50 freestyle;

East Central Swim Team had a strong start to the 2014 Age Group State meet.

Jackson Ketcham- 5th boys 11-12 100 freestyle, 8th boys 11-12 400 freestyle;
Jacob Weber-12th 13-14 200 butterfly;

The Batesville American Legion Baseball team’s 2014 season has come to an end during The State Regionals at Madison Shawe Memorial.

On Wednesday, Madison defeated Batesville 9-7 and on Thursday, Seymour ended Batesville’s season 13-10.

The following members of the East Central Swim Team are competing in the Indiana Swimming Age Group Championships at the IUPUI Natatorium this weekend.

Equipment distribution for Batesville Middle School football will be held Thursday, July 24. Eighth graders can pick up the equipment at 5:30 p.m.

Congratulations to the following track and field athletes for being awarded one of the most prestigious awards in athletics.

The Pitch, Hit, & Run Regionals took place at Great American Ballpark on Saturday Morning (6-7).

Each kid received a plaque the shape of home plate, very nice large plaque.
