Players of the Week.
Golf:  Brent Tucker – RS.
Baseball:  Matt Drockelman – JCD and Dalton Roark – SC.
Softball:  Morgen Carroll –  JCD, Taryn Cline – M, and

Kamryn McCool struck out 13 in a 3-hit, 6-0 win at East Central Tuesday night. Offensively, McCool paced the Cat bats with 2 doubles and an RBI.

The Greensburg Girls Track and Field Team placed 2nd behind the East Central Trojans at the 2017 IHSAA Sectional meet hosted by Franklin County High School Tuesday night.

The Franklin County girls tennis team had a good showing at the EIAC tournament this past weekend.

Franklin County lost a road game to Lawrenceburg 9-3 Monday night.

FC got behind early and was unable to fight from behind to catch the Tigers.

The Batesville HS Freshman Baseball team lost 9-7 to the Columbus East C-Team at home on Tuesday May 2nd.

Batesville was limited to only 2 hits but scored due to some aggressive baserunning and sacrifice

The 2017 EIAC Boys Golf Meet was held at The Rushville Antler’s Pointe Golf Course on Saturday, May 13.

The Greensburg Pirates were the team champions with a score of 355.  Batesville was second with

The St Louis Golf Team finished their year, this past Saturday, at the 4th annual Batesville Invitational.

The tournament featured teams from Batesville, Greensburg, Rush County, and Franklin County.

The Bulldogs Win Back-And-Forth Affair Against Greensburg Batesville and Greensburg traded the lead back-and-forth on Saturday, but eventually the Bulldogs prevailed 13-12.

Batesville took the lead for good in the fifth inning.

OA beat Franklin 3-2 and Brown County 4-1 at The Franklin County Tennis Tourney.

Angela Wanstrath won twice 6-3, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-0.
